The Marbury conundrum
Allot of folks are speculating whats going to happen to Steph, I personally think the Knicks are going to trade him, D'antoni didn't like his play in the one year he lasted under Mike in PHX so why would he change his mind after only a few BAD years in which starbury has done nothing, and also steph sat out the game in PHX with his "issues" last season which I'm sure Mike noted, and after having Nash as his leader I think he is going to be looking for a more unselfish PG with a little bit smaller ego, in my opinion they should go for Duhon who would be a good fit and would blossom with more minutes, or the underrated Brevin Knight, because this is going to be a rebuilding season either way. The people saying they are going to get Barbosa in at point are way off, D'antoni knows Leandrino cant play starting PG, he struggle covering Nash for 7 minutes a game, maybe at 2 guard and then where does that leave Steph, I love the cheap Kicks and all that but sorry Steph, Oklahoma City *insert your preferred team name I cant for the life of me think of one* awaits! I'm out like gallinari's minutes....
NBA, a view from the UK
Well, seeing all the guys at slam posting interesting articles has got me interested in starting my own blog, the upcoming season should be very interesting, what with a great crop of rook's, including a great prospect in Portland, one Mr. Oden, a "new" team (RIP Seattle) lots of trades, and before all that the Olympics! before the Internet I saw like one game a week, which sucked hard. But now with league pass and certain *cough* maybe copyrighted downloads I see as much as I want/need, which is kewl! I find it amazing how up north here in England not so many people are interested in B'ball, I myself find football/soccer really boring and nothing compares in my eyes as some dude getting posterised by an awesome dunk. I allways loved the game but my interest peaked when a certain South African/English/Canadian called Nash was playing out of this world, unselfishly, with flair, and being the same height and build as myself made me feel anything was possible for anyone in the worlds greatest sport, I'm a massive suns fan, love Amare, not too sure about the Shaq trade, but just really looking forward to see what happens this next season, I will leave it there for now until I figure what topic is going to get the creative juices flowing, later....
